Mixtechnique on Acrylic Glass
On my walks, with a camera in my hand I explore the natural world. I capture instant images of natural phenomena that I later re-arrange according to form, colour, and structure, in a process of artistic transformation that gives rise to images that up to that moment were hidden and unknown. With the help of intense colour, it is also possible to either highlight or dampen down structures and elements, with the result that the common shapes of plants, leaves, branches and flowers taken on quite a new appearance.
Since I was a young girl my work has been influenced by many different painting methods and I am still constantly trying out new paints, colors and techniques. Over the years, I have continuously refined my use of colour, and my artistic and stylistic abilities.
Size of images and paintings:
3 x 2 Meters
(Sizes can be adjusted for custom orders).

Acryl and Oil on Canvas, Aluminium, Acrylic Glass, Acrylic Glass with illuminated frame.
